Talented Argentine Sebastian Lopez filmed this wonderful piece on the Canon 7D. Seems to be a theme this week of featuring projects with attractive females. Bare with us we have some exciting write-ups on the way featuring a variety of different projects.
The Heart Won’t Be Denied was shot on buenos aires with a canon 7d camera. We shot on real locations with no budget over 4 days. The clip was shot with available light.
My DP was Jorge Dumitre. The camera was rigged with a Captain Stubling Red Rock Micro.
For the party sequence we used 1k fresnel tungsten light with a 2/16 difussion with an orange CTO, we backlit with a hard light using a 2kw fresnel light. That scene was the only scene we light.
All the lens flares were created live, in camera. We shot at 24fps, the country shots ones were done at 60fps. The night scenes were shot at 1000 Iso with really low light condition. We used a 24-70mm and a telephoto 200mm.
i did the color correction, i was looking for an image with no contrast, i did a little tweak on the skin color, and i add a little warm/soft/pink hue to everything. i add a little of softness to the blacks. and desaturate the whole thing in the end.
the night scenes were the most difficult to correct, they were too orange so those ones give me a little more work.
